C&C Yachts Welcomes Karma Yacht Sales

C&C Yachts Welcomes Karma Yacht Sales as Their New Dealer for Western Great Lakes

(Warren, RI- November 19, 2013) C&C Yachts announced today that Karma Yacht Sales (KYS), based in Chicago, will be the newest addition to their growing dealer network.  KYS will cover the Western Great Lakes region including the states of Michigan, Indiana, Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Missouri and Tennessee.   “C&C Yachts chose Karma to represent their boats due to their outstanding success and reputation as a dealer together with their ability to develop and grow One Design classes” said Barry Carroll of C&C Yachts.

C&C garnered much attention in their recent launch of the C&C 30 project.  This race-ready One-Design designed by Mark Mills turned quite a few heads at its introduction during the United States Sailboat Show in Annapolis.  Tooling began recently on the boat at the C&C shop in Warren, Rhode Island, with early hulls expected for delivery in Spring 2014.

“The C&C product line complements our existing product offerings” said KYS Co-Owners Jack Buoscio and Lou Sandoval.  “There has been a need for an agile boat with the flexibility to perform in course racing, yet possessing the power and stability for local distances races such as the Race to Mackinac” said Sandoval. “We are glad to be on board!”

There are plans for model introduction meetings in January 2014 and at the Strictly Sail Chicago show January 23-26, 2014 at Navy Pier. The first boats will launch in March 2014.

About C&C Yachts:  In the mid 1960’s, C&C Yachts was founded on the principle to expect only the highest standards of integrity in design, construction, and people.

Nearly half a century after C&C Yachts established that foundation, a new group of experienced sailors bring 21st century design and construction to the offshore sailing market. Although the new designs and construction techniques represent the best of current yacht building practice, the simple premise upon which C&C Yachts was founded remains unchanged.  Integrity in all things.

About Karma Yacht Sales: Karma Yacht Sales has been selling sailing yachts on Lake Michigan Since 2002.  KYS is a full service dealership providing new boat sales, excellent customer service and brokerage on Lake Michigan and throughout the Great Lakes. KYS has been a perennial recipient of the Beneteau President’s Award for Sales & Service, as well as the 2011 Dealer of the Year Award, and maintains Platinum Dealer status. Living up to their motto: ‘Waves of good fortune follow admirable actions’ KYS is a supporter of youth and educational initiatives in their surrounding community. This premise governs their business philosophy and their social consciousness.

RCR and C&C to Join Forces

C&C Yachts is proud to declare that we gained RCR Yachts as a dealer last week!

Read about it in their recent announcement:

RCR and C&C to Join Forces:  We are coming around full circle on this as we were a C&C dealer back in 1972 when RCR first started in business.  We continued to be one of C&C’s largest dealers until the time they closed shop in Niagara-on-the-Lake.  At that time they sold the name to people in Ohio and we elected not to go with that program…and never regretted the decision.  Now the name C&C is owned by our good friends at US Watercraft and they have a totally new line of boats planned which we feel will be a good fit for us.  We have always been racers ourselves and cater to the performance boat market which most dealers shy away from.  It is our feeling that what C&C has planned will augment, not compete with, our present product lines.  The first new model will be the C&C 30 One Design that will hit the water next April.  Contact us for more details. ” – RCR Yachts, http://www.rcryachts.com/

At C&C Yachts, we know that RCR will be a great fit for our new products.  RCR understands and respects the C&C heritage as much as we do, and together, we look forward to re-launching the C&C name with new boat models worthy of the original C&C name.
